This afternoon we were in Cedar Rapids at the US Cellular Five Seasons Center to watch the Western volleyball team play in the state championship game. It was a very close game and fun to watch. Western once again came out the state champions. Being in the Five Seasons Center brought back tons of great high school memories. Jon and I both agree that some of the best times we had at volleyball state are from our senior year when we played Unity in the championship game and won!!!
Erin's parents are also here for the tournament and so we have had fun going out to eat, shopping, and watching the games. They will go to church with us tomorrow and then head back home. (Don't worry Leah and Travis, they didn't spoil us TOO much - haha)
Here is the team getting the trophy.

We listened to the game - and it was an exciting one. Congrats to Western! Dordt also won over Northwestern tonight, so it's been an exciting day of volleyball. Enjoy the rest of your week end!
