Sorry for the delay in updates. We have had a busy week again. Jon started his first week of classes and already he has more than enough studying to keep his time occupied. The pediatrics unit I am working on has been very busy this summer - which provides many learning opportunities but also leaves me quite tired at the end of the day. Tonight we had a chance to go to a picnic and meet some of the medical students in Jon's class as well as some of the upperclassmen at his school. Iowa City has many fun parks that run along the Iowa River. We went to one of the large parks tonight that has about 15 different shelter houses, tennis courts, and a walking trail.
